Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Great little breakfast and brunch shop. Cozy atmosphere. Saw them really cleaning down the benches and tables which was really nice. The omelettes were very good and so were the pancakes. All pancakes and waffles can be made gluten-free which was why we went there. We love this place

I came into Snooze yesterday 07/18/2024 with a few of my friends. Well before coming in, I had called the restaurant to ask if they were able to accommodate a strict gluten free diet, as I have Celiac Disease. The girl on the phone said yes and that they had different pans for my use when I order. When we got there, I informed my waitress of my allergies and she ensured me that the kitchen would take extra precautions and even change their gloves. I ordered the pancakes. Immediately after consuming my stomach began to hurt. Then, about two hours later, I was in extreme pain and had severe nausea. Then I threw up. I ended up getting sick 6 times in less than 2 hours. I am so disappointed with this restaurant. Celiac is a really big deal and I have never felt that sick before in my life. I will never be returning to any Snooze location and I highly recommend anyone with a severe allergy never goes there either.
