Sol Toro Restaurant

Had a great birthday dinner for my fiancé tonight! We come here every time we go to Mohegan Sun and always have a delicious meal. Thank you to our server Katie for making our dinner extra special tonight and surprising us with a delicious birthday dessert! The Chicken fajitas are my favorite and they have gluten free options. We will be back!

I have a severe gluten allergy. Two separate servers went through the menu and told me what I could eat, how things were prepped in the back and what I could substitute. They were very knowledgeable. I enjoyed foods I rarely eat as someone with a severe gluten allergy - they subbed baked corn chips on the nachos, corn tortillas for the enchiladas and gave me baked chips with my salsa. They told me everything for an allergy and celiac gets given a big card so everyone is very careful in the back. I felt comfortable ordering and eating here. Great job Sol Toro!

I have a gluten intolerance and ordered the special which unfortunately did have some flour coating. So the chef devised a way to cook it without the flour and it came out wonderful. It was monitored by the supervisor who was incredibly accommodating. My server was also top notch. The food was excellent and the service was everything a restaurant should be. Being an Hispanic restaurant many of the wait staff are Hispanic. I hope they are not affected by deportation. The restaurant would not be the same.
