Sophia & Spritz

We had a wonderful experience at Sophia and Spritz. We booked a reservation for a Christmas party, and both the service and food were exceptional. They were also very accommodating to multiple guests with dairy and gluten allergies. I highly recommend them!

Our server was super fun and definitely part of the overall great experience. It was my husband's 52nd birthday so we wanted really good food. It was tremendous! The salted caramel espresso martini, scallop and calamari appetizers, pasta ragu, and oh that angus steak medium rare! I will be dreaming about that steak for a long time. The new take on tiramisu as well as the chocolate dome were delicious. We would like to see more variety in the desserts including a dark chocolate dessert that could be gluten free such as a sinful, buttery, flourless chocolate cake (?). Given the price of a bottle of wine, we would both love to have it decanted. Our bill came to $300 plus tip and it was worth it. Thank you for a lovely Tuesday evening and the complimentary dessert wine for hubby's special day. Your servers are the best in Moncton and it makes all the difference in the world!

Italian restaurant located in the Sheraton Hotel. **IMPORTANT** From the outside the restaurant looks like its permanently closed, the door is chained off and the windows blacked out. The entrance is actually inside the hotel, they built a false wall in front of the exterior windows and door. Food was excellent and they and a good selection to choose from, Italian themed. A bit pricy but it is a nice place. Most dishes can be made gluten free as well.
