We were disappointed in our first experience with the food and price. I initially saw a menu online that said the brisket sammich was $17. I ordered takeout and the price of the sandwich was $20. The second one was with a gluten free bun and it was $23.00. The meat was nothing special. It was not as juicy as we would have expected and not much meat. When I got home I found that they had not included the sides of sauces. $45.15 for two buns with 4 slices of small meat and a bit of coleslaw on a bun is alot of money. I can buy a huge pirtof brisket for that which I will do from now on. Double check the prices and that you have all your items before you leave.

The food was delicious and the advice regarding gluten-free dishes was also very good. I could feel confident that I was getting something gluten free and I wasn't disappointed. A very good BBQ restaurant in the middle of Vernon.
