Storrs Hall Hotel

We have stayed in a few hotels and nothing compares to this. Throughout our whole weekend the staff were fantastic. The staff often greeted us by name and remembered details such as my allergy to gluten, when ordering food. Although the hotel seemed full, it never felt busy. The location was excellent, the scenery was out of this world and it was so peaceful. We were blown away with the room, beds were very comfy and it was worth getting a room with a view. No complaints about the food and being coeliac, it was so nice to be able to eat from the menu without any adaptations. The staff make you feel relaxed and welcome. We have to acknowledge the fantastic service given by ‘Jasmine’ and ‘Raf’ who were very friendly and personable. We would highly recommend this hotel if you want a bit of tranquility with exceptional service to match.

Beautiful, multipurpose hotel in a superb setting on Lake Windermere with an incredible view from the sitting rooms. Service very polite and attentive for the Afternoon Tea we enjoyed today. We rang in advance to advise the Hotel that a member of our party is coeliac. They produced superb salmon and cucumber sandwiches on GF bread and gluten free scones. Made our day!
