Summer Place

Summer Place was the perfect experience for a date night! My fiancé took me here around the evening time and it was the perfect location to watch the sunset as we enjoyed dinner together. With the lake view being amazing and the whole restaurants beautiful elegant look, it made our experience very romantic and relaxing. To top off our night, the food was amazing as well. Lots of great choices on the menu and what I loved most was the menu had gluten free options as well! Customer service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive and very nice. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another date night!

This past Thursday I came here with my lady for a night cap to her birthday. First time both of us being there. Quite the place feel and appearance wise. The hosts were courteous and sweet… unfortunately that’s where the good stopped. After being sat it took our bartender 15 minutes to make my Tito’s and sprite which I made very clear to bartender as we were sat I’m gluten free (allergic). Then after dropping my drink off instead of asking if she’s ready to order a drink he walks away and doesn’t come back for another 10-15 minutes. We enjoyed our evening once we were able to get a different bartender… as I go to cash out though I see on my bill New Amsterdam so I ask the bartender why this is on my check. Which he reply’s with yes that’s what we put in our white tea. I said excuse me bud I specifically told you I’m gluten free. Even told you how to make the shot AS I’M A BARTENDER! After speaking with the manager… 2 drinks were taken off my check. I could careless about the money, I cared more about the fact I then spent my night severely ill when this was a very avoidable situation and how the handling of the matter was not handled appropriately in the slightest.
