Sushi on Bloor

When we informed the server of one of our party's gluten-free restrictions, he pondered for a moment and then asked how severe the allergy was. He then recommended we not eat the crab meat, which is very thoughtful. We had a safe experience eating there without any cross contamination issues. Good tasting food!

Sushi was decent (nothing special). Affordable price but service was garbage. Asked about the spicy salmon and the server said that the spicy mayo isn’t gluten free but didn’t know why or what ingredients were in it. When asked about the packaging he said “there is none” and said no one will know. A few minutes later when another server was asked he blatantly refused to understand. I tried to asked him a few different ways and to confirm with the kitchen. I saw him walk away directly to the entrance of the kitchen wait for 5 seconds and then walked back saying “I asked they don’t know and there is no ingredient list” which was a complete lie because we could literally see him. Nothing special about this place and definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone with any allergies.
