Sweet As Waffles

We have been in the area for only three days and have stopped in three days in a row! This place is incredible! My husband is gluten and dairy allergic, and the gluten-free and vegan waffles are the best we’ve ever had. They have such a great assortment of interesting toppings/ingredient combinations, both sweet and savory. We can’t wait to try them all! The service is very fast and friendly, and the atmosphere super fun!

Waffle Wonderland at Sweet As Waffles! If Willy Wonka ran a waffle shop, it would definitely be Sweet As Waffles. This place is a sugar-sprinkled dreamland where every waffle comes with a surprise — not just in flavor, but also a tiny toy dino tucked inside like a prehistoric prize. Yes, you read that right: waffles + dinosaurs = instant serotonin. Their menu? Pure brilliance. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet classic dripping in strawberries and whipped cream, or a savory stunner stacked with cheese, eggs, and bacon, they’ve got your cravings covered. Bonus: they even cater to our gluten-free friends with crispy, golden GF waffles that are just as magical. A waffle shop that serves delicious food and gives you a toy with your meal? Sweet As Waffles isn’t just a treat — it’s a whole experience. 10/10 would eat again (and adopt another waffle dino).

Do not eat here if you have celiac disease, I asked if it would be safe for someone with celiac to eat the gluten free waffles they have, an employee immediately scoffed and said no. Giving four stars because they were knowledgeable about celiac and were honest I shouldn’t eat there. Gave one star off because it’s odd to me labeling it as gluten free without any note about cross contamination or that it’s definitely not safe if you have celiac disease.
