Being that I am a Chef, it’s actually sad that I have to leave a bad review. Hopefully the owners take notice and fix it but I won’t be back to this place. 1st I must say that it was unorganized on the entrance, really did not know how the place would be ran. If you’re dining in, expect the food to be serve like takeout. When ordering at the register, we wasn’t greeted respectfully or welcoming, I guess it’s because I am black, I’ve seen the lady greeted other ethnicity better. Mind you I am a chef, so when I asked if they had Belgian waffles, the lady at the register was be obnoxious and basically try to tell me false info (like Belgian waffles are gluten free in every restaurant). I really wanted to try the chicken and waffles but she threw me off with her attitude and pretty much lost my appetite. I ordered the chicken club sandwich with chips and it was ok could be better. I asked for coffee and she just handed me a cup, I asked why the cup is empty and she said because I have to walk across the dining room to get coffee (like I’m supposed to know that on my first time being there). I really wanted to leave before ordering but my fiancé wanted to try the food. To my people in color I would tell you to tread lightly if you going here because something was definitely off when we entered and you’ll definitely get better service at Denny’s, IHOP or any other breakfast spot. Food is expensive but you’ll cutlery and plates are paper and plastic in dine- in. Atmosphere is unique but it ain’t much without proper customer service.
