I love this place! Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Their baked goods are to die for. I especially love their cinnamon rolls, especially when they have the coffee Oreo one! Lots of caffeine options too. The atmosphere is also so cozy. I always bring my book and spend some time reading while indulging in treats! Everything is 100% gluten free. They also cater to other allergies as well. Just check the signage to see if it’s df, nut free, etc.

My only compliant about The Cake Box is there baked goods are so good, I'd like to be eating one with every meal. And my waistline would suffer. Seriously The Cake Box is one of the best gluten free bakeries on the planet. If I'm anywhere within 10 miles I'll drive out of my way to stop by. Absolutely, incredibly delicious baked goods!!!

I have a big family and people judge so much in Connecticut, but not Southington, CT. All of my kids have allergies, and I have been accused of lying about it. All have been tested and verified. This was the first time my babies have been able to eat at a ice cream shop with cones and gluten free pop tarts and gluten free ice cream d sandwiches oh my!!!!. I miss Austin texas and Southington reminds me of that. I also love Paul Gregorys the owners sister has celiacs. Amazing food!!!

Stopped by here while visiting family in the area. It's difficult for me to find quality gluten free items at home, so I try to stop at places when I have the chance. It is FANTASTIC and I can't wait to stop by again. The whoopie pie--- AMAZING. Next time I will absolutely stock up on those. The cookies were excellent, and I'm looking forward to the biscuits. I was able to freeze almost everything. Yes, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for in this case and it is QUALITY and absolutely worth it for me. Gluten free is always expensive, so it might as well be from a local bakery. Thank you for having this bakery!

Everything here is gluten free - and delicious! We went for the Dubai chocolate, a dark chocolate covered marshmallow, two vegan ice cream sandwiches, and an amazing pyramid shaped truffle that tasted of nutmeg and cardamom. I highly recommend this place.

I adored everything about this place. I arrived around 9:45am and there was a bit of a line in total I waited about 25 minutes to get inside. It is helpful to look at the menus while in line and know what you want once inside the bake shop. I had the strawberry rhubarb croissant a French toast flavored ice coffee and a macaroon and ginger and molasses cookie to go. The croissant and coffee were delicious and flavorful and were perfect for my walk around town. The inside of the establishment is clean and well decorated the staff are extremely friendly and pack everything beautifully. Later in the day I had my cookies and they were flavorful the ginger and molasses was listed as gluten friendly. This is a must try place if in mystic. I wanted to see the rooftop but it was closed for a private event.

Saw this on a list of best coffee in CT so I stopped in on my way to Boston. I loved the vanilla latte, but the sandwich truly blew me away. I ordered a chipotle breakfast sandwich and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. I loved the bread-it almost melted off the sandwich in the best way. The sandwich was well constructed and flavor profile was simply perfect, the cheese keeping the bacon well in tact. I also ordered a raspberry oatmeal bar and blueberry coffee cake at the suggestion of staff, which were great as well. They had a large selection of gluten free baked goods. The cafe is so cute and has tables inside and outside as well as a few couches inside. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely beautifully decorated gluten free chocolate cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday party! My daughter has celiac disease and it was incredible to find someone who not only can make celiac safe gluten free goods (100% GF kitchen), but also the best tasting, moist chocolate cake ever! ALSO, affordable. The entire cake disappeared at the party, no leftovers. 100% recommend! Thank you gluten free gringa ❤️

I was very excited to support a local business and get goodies for my gluten free and dairy free friend for her birthday! However, I placed the order on 3/21/25, received confirmation but have never heard anything else. I have called and emailed multiple times! I even messaged them on fb. What an AMAZING find! The family and I were up this way for a tour of Oakridge Dairy and this place was recommended by the dairy guide. I am so glad we stopped in. My son is gluten free and they had so many options for him. The baked goods looked and tasted delicious. We had lunch and every sandwich was so good and fresh! I even got some things to go to have the next day. I will definitely be coming back.

I love going to Love Heart's! It's a small business that feels like a family. They put a lot of care and, yes, love into their food. Lots of gluten free and allergen free options. Really cozy space that you want to hang out in. The service is always friendly and everyone is really kind. The coffee is good and I love the English Muffin bread. Lots of character with some good eco friendly practices. Also the prices are much lower than other places in the area and comes with equal or better quality.

Congratulations! Your search for your wedding cake/dessert vendor has come to an end. The Zest team is incredible to work with. We were navigating some dietary restrictions (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, etc.), and Gabriella was incredibly patient answering all of our questions. Their communication was top notch. The on-the-go tasting still involved a conversation with Gabriella at their shop, and it was informative without feeling pressured or sales-pitchy. It was a fun experience that allowed me and my husband to have a fun little picnic and taste all the yummy items. The options available for cakes and desserts is truly incredible. There's something for every taste preference. Some highlights: The gluten free chocolate cake was incredible. The regular chocolate was also ROCKIN' with the chocolate mousse. The red velvet was moist and the cream cheese filling had a great zing to it. The chocolate sea salt caramel tarts were a major crowd pleaser (one guest said they could die happy because they had eaten it, and it was the best thing they've ever tasted). The s'mores cookies are so unique, and the mini whoopie pies are such a fun whimsical treat. The chocolate covered strawberries also received five star reviews across the board. Beyond taste, the team brought our vision for the cake to life. They nailed the Lambeth design from our inspo pics! Delivery was seamless on our end as well. Our biggest regret of the wedding is only getting a few bites of cake! We will be coming back for anniversaries to come to get some treats. From the bottom of our hearts (and stomachs) we recommend Zest!

Stylish Spoon is reliably delicious with their core oatmeal cups and also creative with their seasonal flavors. My kids (8 and 10) very much enjoy their oatmeal cups on the go and for breakfast. Great local coffee shop. For their small store front they have a good amount of seating and seem to do a good amount of take-out business. They offer some of the best Gluten Free treats in the area and their fresh bagels and sandwiches are so much better than anything from the chain coffee shops. They are right near the train tracks in a lively part of downtown Stafford. But I have never been there when a train went by... Need to keep trying.

First time visiting this restaurant. It has a college like vibe even though most of the customers were older. The food tasted good. I ordered scrambled eggs which were flat and not fluffy. My husband ordered an omelet where the eggs were also flat and it was greasy. He said it was ok. The food came on paper plates with plastic forks. We had to pick up after ourselves too. There were a few gf baked goods in the display case. I didn’t see any muffins. My experience was just ok.

Bonkers is the best!!! We've had their cakes and cupcakes many times and all of the flavors and frostings are delicious and taste homemade. The quality is exceptional. Such a wonderful little cafe! The coffee was delicious. I bought one of their specials, pistachio tiramisu iced latte. We also got a BEC and their California BEC, and it was VERY good. Came out hot and very fresh. The service was wonderful and the girls were very attentive. They have vegetarian, gluten free, and keto options. Everything is organic (for those that care about that kind of thing)

Love love love thos coffee shop. We stop in every time we drive through from Chicago. The gluten free cinnamon cake is sooooooo good. This morning's orange chocolate latte and strawberry mocha latte were both excellent. Highly recommend this bakery and coffee shop. The gluten free German chocolate cupcake was also delicious.
