Talucci’s Italian Bakery

Newer bakery in downtown Summerville. There’s 2 sections to the place. One side is a small shop that sells olives, meats and many other things. The other side is more of a cafe feel with homemade pastries, desserts and coffee. The decor was beautiful and there were cute little nooks that had some seating. My husband has celiac so it was nice to see they had some options like the GF Ube cookie which was actually really good. I liked that they had little handles on the espresso cups! I thought the pricing for the pastries here were pretty steep for the area we were in. Some of the small ones were about $4 each. Overall it’s a nice vibe and they had good variety.

A charming Italian bakery, with a great selection of pastries, including gluten-free options. Coffee, like pretty much everywhere in the Charleston area, is way too strong and bitter for my European taste, but the pastries and the ambiance make up for it.
