Absolutely fantastic. Very gluten friendly, lots of gluten free options and gf pita is even available and the flavors don't suffer for it. Wonderfully accommodating staff. If you get the grill for 2-3 with friends you will have plenty of food and probably still take some home. Fantastically filling. Most Seattle restaurants aren't worth the prices they charge, but this was the first one I've been to in a minute that was really worth paying for both the food and experience. Will be back.

Edit - Took off another star as it has happened again a few more times with takeout. Despite reiterating multiple times that I have a gluten allergy please do not include a pita with my takeout, they continue to do it every time. While my dine in experiences at Tanoor have been good, my takeout experiences have not. Every time I’ve gotten takeout, despite me telling them to note Celiac and not to add any pitas, a pita has been added every time. Last time I even told the waitress that this has happened before and would appreciate if they remember not to add a pita to my gluten free food. She was half listening and assured me the food will be gluten free. When I get my food, there is yet again a pita added. No apology provided when I asked them to remove the pita due to allergies. Not sure how confident I feel with their care and caution preparing food in the kitchen - where I can’t see - for those with allergies when I can see a clear lack of care when they quickly add a pita on autopilot mode before handing the bag to me. Based on other reviews, seems the owner has Celiac. Would definitely not expect such a lack of care and awareness from the staff in that case.

Wow!!! First meal in Seattle, when I tell you this is the best middle eastern and Lebanese food I've ever had I'm not joking. I've been to Israel and had Lebanese food at many restaurants there and this is still the best. Pita is served warm and flavorful with a z'atar olive oil dip(best pita ever). We ordered the falafel 10/10 soooo good! The grape leaves stuffed with rice and tzatziki was a great side refreshing and tasty. But the beef and lamb shawarma platter was seasoned extremely well and the meat was tender perfect with the garlicky toum! Yellow rice was awesome. No complaints only I wish this was in my hometown. The service was friendly and quick. One of the servers informed us of all allergies and accommodating to them all gluten, dairy, nuts and tomatoes. Highly recommend this place and honestly might be back before I leave this week!!! For $54 with tip was a steal of a deal. Go Here you won't regret it!!
