Good gluten-free drink selection. Overpriced food for its middling quality, but it’s still nice to have a very gluten-safe option. This used to be Capitol Hill Cider—they appear to have rebranded to seem more upscale, but now it feels like they’re misrepresenting themselves as a better restaurant than they are. Service is meandering, slow, and has featured mistakes on my visits. Charcuterie appears store-bought and thoughtless. Downstairs is better, because there’s less of an attempt to seem like a fancy restaurant—they haven’t even covered up all the Capitol Hill Cider signage effectively. But don’t expect service at all down there; just go to the bar to make orders and then hang out.

Sweet potato fries perfected, lovely vegan dipping sauces. The bbq has a lovely contrast of tang and sweetness. The vegan Belgian style waffle is delicious and had a soft texture I loved. The vegan butter and maple syrup complimented the waffle wonderfully and the amount given was perfect. The magical mocha was my drink of choice, nice mocha that isn't overpowering or too chocolatey. If you're gluten-free, vegan, or just like amazing food, Cole's Bakery & Caf'e is worth it, just know that they've had to increase prices due to the rise in food costs.

Some of our parties food order got lost(12 of us) But they worked to fix the situation. The food was very good. They have a big selection of gluten friendly options which is hard to get in a restaurant. Thank you for that!

Higher end dining, price wise. The atmosphere is wonderful. Service was a bit slow. We had the alligator bites for an appetizer, my husband tried the special that was a chicken and mushroom dish. He said it was delicious. I had a seafood pasta dish that was wonderful as well. The pasta are huge, I ended up with most of it as take away. They do HSBC an outside courtyard with access is from outside only. They do have some gluten free options as well. Parking is on a one way street.

A hotspot for generous bowls, multi-visit allure, and an exciting soup & salad menu, enticing enough for a 2-hour drive.

As a Celiac (highly allergic to gluten), it's nice to go to a restaurant where you know everything is safe and there is no cross contamination. While the only menu option is a bowl, there are so many great options to put in your bowl. It was actually hard to just pick 5 toppings. If you order in a paper bowl, you take your food with you and can eat right away. If you get a hot stone pot, they will take your bowl and make it hot! This takes about 5 minutes, but worth the wait. We also got a side of the potato salad. Super tasty! The place is pretty small, so my only complaint is when it's full it feels crowded. Can't wait to go again!
