They offer gluten free pasta and pizza. The pasta sauce on the shrimp dish was lacking in ingredients to justify its price (herbs, spices, garlic, capers all would have helped). The bolognese was decent. We split a house salad to start that was fresh and light, again it could have used a little fresh lemon and herbs something to bring the quality up to par with the pricing. Server was polite but skipped garnishes on cocktails and mocktails plus took quite awhile to make them (aperol spritz or Shirley temple should be really straightforward). For the price again would be nice if one of the many staff hanging around could help him if it was needed. Would probably head to Perry’s down the street for a better meal at the same price next time.

Everything we ordered from Taverna's menu was delicious, and our service by Chris was excellent too! They have gluten-free options, including a few risotto entrees that were really good. We'll definitely be coming back.

Chris was fantastic! I really appreciate when a server is willing to provide honest recommendations based on stated preferences, dietary restrictions, and popular food items. Chris gave us suggestions for food, drink, and dessert pairing that we absolutely enjoyed (bolognese pasta, California pizza on gluten free crust, pumpkin espresso martini, & berry panna cotta). We have been here before & have always had a positive experience- we will continue to come back for more! As a side note on atmosphere- I really appreciated the way they closed the patio to the elements and added heaters to keep it warm & toasty on a cold night (30-40 degree F).
