Why would I come back: Taxman CityWay is a really welcoming space, in a historic 19th-century livery building in downtown Indianapolis. Upscale pub feel with a large beir garden, blocks away from the basketball arena. Old exposed brickwork is beautiful and they have a full bar with a great food menu. After living in Belgium, the founders came back with a deep appreciation for Belgian beers and the culture of neighborhood breweries. Their experience inspired their decision to focus on Belgian-style/inspired ales. The menu features heavy hitters like an 8.5% Triple and a 13.3% imperial stout, but also brings more approachable beers like a Euro Style Pilsner and a rotating IPA.
