Oh no. Ted’s you have lost your edge. Came today after church expecting a long line but nope. I asked for corn tortillas and got these cardboard ones that were terrible. Turns out the yellow ones are gluten free , and they are terrible . Be sure to ask for the white corn tortillas . Next the mixed vegetables are now at an up charge , even if you want to trade both sides for them, there is still an up charge . The best Mexican tacos , which is WHY we came rather than tarahumaras, offered a “volcano” option with spicy sauce and actual jalapeños . Well it came out regular , and on white corn tortillas , which are different than the sucky GF yellow ones , and it did not come with jalapeños , our server was stressed and must be new an perhaps overworked. We tipped decently, 18%, but would not have except for this poor server seemed in need of a break. I’m sorry Ted’s , but tarahumars next time. I know you’re trying to make a profit, and perhaps the new era doesn’t support superb service and wonderful food any longer , perhaps it is a reflection of our economy rather than Ted’s decline .

I have celiac and I can only trust this place because of Lex - ASK FOR HER! I have never been glutened thanks to her knowledge and attention to detail. Food is great - I get a special pork bowl and guac appetizer every time - Lex makes it herself to make sure its celiac friendly.

It was a Friday night my husband, his brother and I heard it was one of the best places to eat so we had high expectations. I'm gluten intolerant so Mexican food is usually my go to.
