Fabulous traditional pub. No loud music, just the noise of convivial chatter. Sunday roast beef was excellent. Very tasty, enhanced by a really strong horseradish sauce. Gluten free diners and drinkers catered for, with a selection of GF ales on offer. Loyalty discount scheme available on a Wednesday.

A welcoming pub and hotel. As a coeliac I wasn't expecting too much with regards to food, how wrong was I. The choice was amazing and offered dishes that were unusual and superb. The breakfast was equally as nice. The room was comfortable with a lovely bath and a few added little extras. Only one small complaint, the television was hit and miss with the picture due to connection issues. Would definitely stay again.
