N
we came for the gluten free key lime pie, which was delicious, and the opportunity for a little patio dining at the end of a long day of touring Savannah, also delightful. but a special shout out goes to our server, Katie, who, from the word "hello," was a top-notch host and guide to our brief experience there. thank you Katie. we'll definitely have an italian job cocktail in your honor the next time we're in town.

This was our first time visiting to dine in. My niece has ordered food to go in the past and always enjoyed it. She is gluten free (Celiac) so she is very careful about where she eats. The restaurant was packed but we only ended up waiting about 20 minutes for our table. Unfortunately, there was no place to stand inside while we tried to enjoy our drinks from the bar. I had the Pretty Woman (too bitter) and the Secret Garden (so delicious). We were seated and our server was pleasant enough. Now the food. We started with the Roasted Jumbo Garlic Heads. Would recommend, the garlic was roasted perfectly with delicious crusty bread. I had the Carolina Crab Cake, which was very disappointing. No flavor and the Avocado Salsa had way too many onions. My niece ordered the Seared NY Strip, which she was so looking forward to as she is gluten free and feels safe eating at this restaurant. The steak was very tough, so she could not eat much of it. What a waste. The best thing on the menu was the Savory Brined Grilled Pork. Perfectly tender and the polenta and southern succotash were delicious. Overall, I was disappointed with the food after reading so many good reviews. I mentioned the steak to our server but she had no real response. Like I said, the wait staff was pleasant enough, but our server kept forgetting to bring the things we requested. It was an ok place to eat, but I expected better.

My fiancé and I stopped here for a drink when we were walking by and heard live music. We sat on the upstairs deck and had Jaylyn as a server. We were having such a nice time and our server was so incredible we decided to eat there. It was the perfect introduction to Southern food. Jaylyn truly made our experience so wonderful. I also have a gluten allergy and she made sure the kitchen was aware!
