The Settlement Kitchen + Craft Tavern

Great for gluten free diners! Tons of options that are gluten free. We shared parm fries for the table and a fig and chicken salad with wonderful shallot vinaigrette. They even have ghost fish GF beer as an option as well as wine and seltzer. Atmosphere is kind of dark but we were there at a weird time of day when the sun was harsh so they had closed the curtains.

This is the third time we’ve eaten at The Settlement, and each time the food has been outstanding. We drive to Priest River just to come here (about an hour’s drive from where we live), and so far we have not been disappointed. They were very busy today, but our server Michael was very attentive and made sure we were were well taken care of during the wait. I had the shrimp tacos, and my sister the Pressed Cuban, and both meals were perfect. (We also had the crab and artichoke dip prior, which they served with fresh fried pita chips and crudités, due to my gluten allergy). Just - seriously- the best food. Well worth the trip, every time. There is something for everyone here- gf, vegan, carnivores, and kids.
