The Southern Cafe - St. Charles, IL

We stayed at nearby hotel, with free breakfast, but came here everyday instead. Loved the restaurant and staff and the food was great. Menu is wide ranging and everything we had was fantastic. Servings are huge and we split meals because, otherwise, you would have to take leftovers which doesn’t work well in a hotel room. Spouse is gluten free and they had lots of options and all were great. On our next trip, regardless where we stay, we will be back here.

This has easily become my favorite breakfast place! Great service and fantastic food. Lots and lots of fun choices with gluten-free options to choose from, too! Their prices are on the higher end, but large portions let you bring home left overs.
