The Auction House

The staff there are very friendly and accommodating for people who can't eat gluten, and the food was served very promptly. If you like pub-style food, you'll love the Auction House.

I probably had the rare bas experience at this place, because I know it's so highly rated. I did not leave this place feeling good. We went on a daturday morning, and it wasnt too busy when we got there. Our server literally forgot about us for at least 20 minutes as we watched them walk around the place doing other things. We were finished and just sitting there. The food was also weird and disappointing. I asked if there were any gluten free options for bread and they said no, so I got what I thought was the safest bet, the eggs and bacon and potatoes. When it came the potatoes had cheese on them, which I'm allergic too, so I thought that was weird that they would put them there, and I could have sworn the eggs had cheese too, or an enormous amount of butter. Also the potatoes tasted like citrus which was so unexpected and off putting. So even though I took my medicine and didn't eat the cheese on the potatoes I left there feeling horrible. My friends food was good, but she was also really disappointed we got forgotten about.
