The Barrio Brothers Tauranga

Being Gluten Free we previewed the menu to check what we wanted. Arrived ordered our drinks and once our drinks arrived we went to order our Entree which we were then advised they couldn't make as they don't have all the ingredients. (Had we known that there were only select things.on the menu available prior to ordering our drinks we would have left.) Went on to order pur mains and had the same issue couldn't have what we wanted as they did not have all the ingredients super disappointed. Also got offered a bottle of water which seemed to take for ever to arrive and ended up asking for it multiple times until it finally arrived. Service was slow and I am sure they kept forgetting about us nobody seemed to really care that we couldn't order what we wanted like it was standard procedure for things not to be available on the menu. Very disappointing.

Food was decent. Information about food was poor. Uncertainty about starters and what was gluten-free. Lettuce didn't look good and the wrong order was served several times. Took a long time between starter and dessert. We still had to get a main course and someone came by to tell us that they were closing soon and whether we wanted to order a dessert.
