The Batter Up Bakery

Me and my wife went in on Sunday April 11th, 2021. My wife has a severe allergy to wheat. She saw Gluten free cupcakes and asked the young lady behind the counter if the cupcakes were wheat free, she said she didn't know and had to ask her supervisor, she returned less than 10 seconds later and said they were wheat free. We returned home less than 10 minutes later, my wife ate the cupcake, and very quickly realized it had wheat in it. She had a severe allergic reaction. The carelessness of this place is absolutely unacceptable, my wife could have lost her life. I am handling this situation on my own, but wanted everyone to know.

The people there, especially Justin, were very nice and professional. They went above and beyond to answer our questions about wedding cakes. Plus, since I'm gluten intolerant, they were able to address my needs and the cakes tasted great!
