4 stars. My wife and I stopped at Boulder Tap House in St. Cloud looking for a quality burger, and it didn’t disappoint. We appreciated that they offer a gluten-free bun option, which is great for those with dietary needs. The weather was nice, so we enjoyed dining outside on their patio—clean and comfortable, though still being fully set up for the season. Service was fast and friendly. We started with cheese curds, which come in three cheese options, though one wasn’t available. The deep-fried cheese cubes were unique but didn’t quite match the flavor of traditional curds. Our burgers were good, and the sweet potato fries were especially tasty. Prices are slightly above average, but the creative menu makes it worthwhile. I like that this place takes risks with its food—it’s not always a home run, but it keeps things interesting. We’ll definitely be back.
