The Butchershop

A large group of us came to The Butchershop for dinner. Our friend, who got married that weekend, had recommended this place as he frequents it with his (now) wife! It was superb. The wine was incredible, the food came out at perfect temperatures, and the wait staff was attentive and accommodating. We did stay back for an after-dinner drink; we moved over to the bar area so they can seat another reservation. I had an Old-Fashioned and it was made perfectly! I have to say, their onion rings are delicious!!! There's also vegetarian and gluten free options available, which is lovely!

Coming from the U.S., I've had many a steak dinner and The Butchershop puts a lot of 'fancy' steakhouses to shame. The service is fantastic and the steaks are divine. They have a fully labelled gluten free menu and staff are knowledgeable about food prep. It is worth every penny to treat yourself to a night of fine wine and dining at this Finnieston gem!
