The Capital Grille

We just returned home from our 22nd anniversary dinner and everything was amazing. We had only been to the Philadelphia location and that was many years ago. So, it was nice to try the new Newtown location which is practically in our backyard. We had reservations and arrived with no wait to a table decorated with heart confetti. The meals we ordered were amazing. One of the best steaks I personally have ever had. We were both so full we declined deserts, but they brought them out anyway along with champagne (complimentary), which really put the experience over the top. Being highly allergic to gluten, I also really appreciated how knowledgable they were and just how extensive the gluten free menu was. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our night extra special. We will definitely be returning.

Just went for dinner for our 1-year wedding anniversary tonight and my goodness it did not disappoint. We’ve been to Capital Grilles before and we knew it would be a great dinner and we were very excited to have one so close to home, but the service helped bring the experience over the top. When we arrived there was an anniversary card on our table handwritten by the team. So cute. Our server Jordan was so attentive and genuinely seemed like she cared and appreciated us as guests. Everyone acknowledged us and congratulated us when they passed by. They were also super attentive to my celiac disease and very concerned with safety for my gluten intolerance. The food was incredible, cocktails were delicious and the desserts were amazing. They finished our night with a super sweet anniversary plate of gluten free flourless choc cake so of course this made my night and champagne. 10/10 would recommend and such a treat to have in Newtown!!! Thanks to Jordan and Ken for making our first wedding anniversary, one to remember!
