Came here for a family meal on Good Friday.
The gentleman behind the bar was quite stony faced and not particularly warm and welcoming or attentive with service but we were late for our table so I wondered if this was why. Our waiter, however, more than made up for this with a very warm demeanor and prompt service.
The gluten free menu was extensive. Children's menu was a little lacking in inspiration. Food was absolutely fabulous. We had cauliflower soup, harissa carrots and lamb shoulder with daphinoise potatoes to share. Just couldn't fault it at all. We eat out a lot and it is the first time in a really long time that we have genuinely enjoyed the quality of food on offer. Our waiter was fab from start to finish and very attentive. All other staff we encountered were warm and smiley.
We don't live in the area but are really glad we were able to eat here and we would definitely come back and highly recommend.
