Jasmine is gf herself she is a lovely lady the food is freshly cooked to order lots of vegan dairy & gluten options ,food taste amazing will certainly visit again
Sat in a for a late lunch, ordered a gluten free pesto chicken sandwich and an iced oat chai latte. My friend got the grilled cheese with a flat white. Felt as though 15 quid was a bit expensive for my order - until the food was served! The sandwiches are massive and both my friend and I kept half for dinner. We both really enjoyed our meals! The staff were warm and welcoming, the cafe was relatively quiet for a Saturday at 12:45pm. There were a variety of cakes available as well, with a fair amount of gluten free and vegan options available. Staff clarified whether my gluten free sandwich order was due to an allergy or a preference. Overall, would recommend, especially for those with a gluten intolerance!
The billboard promise of a dairy-free, gluten-free chocolate orange torte drew me in for a sweet bite and a coffee. Was glad I stopped. Really enjoyed the ambience, the off-peak hours service was still welcoming and a few quiet moments off the busy high street. If you often feel deprived of dessert because of dairy/ gluten restrictions this one is worth it! Enjoy!
Perfect, great food, lots of options (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free), very careful with allergies, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, wonderful location, building with lots of character and well kept
Dear Sir/ Madam,
My partner and I attended your restaurant yesterday afternoon around 4pm. We had not a booking but your helpful manager found as a table. We were given menus, and couldn't see a gluten free option, so I went to the manager and he supplied one. At this point I must point out that my partner is a Celiac and is very gluton intolerant indeed. We were really pleased that you had a large extensive menu. We choose large Nachos to share, which were lovely, but we both stated they tasted like the real thing. We then had fajitas to share with steak strips. My partner had the gluten free ones, which we could see. These were lovely too. We throughly enjoyed the meal and payed the bill of ÂŁ95.00. We then left but almost straight away my partner felt really sick, and really needed a toilet quickly as her stomach had reacted to gluten. We managed to get to a toilet, but she was extremely ill and hence we had to get home and so our day was ruined. We know she was giving gluten by her reaction and we think your restaurant gave us the wrong Nachos. This is a serious matter as a person whom is extremely gluten intolerant can be extremely ill or in some cases worse. I am informing you of this matter because it needs addressing in case it happens again.

The staff were very kind and friendly and the food was delicious. They had some excellent gluten free options too. And a great wine selection. Thank you for a lovely evening
The BEST gluten free pizza and garlic bread I have EVER had. The non-gf people I was with said it was excellent too and thoroughly enjoyed it. My 16yo nephew (who is not gf), said it was the best garlic bread heâd ever had.
Iâve been coming to this restaurant with my family since I was a tiny tot, and seen it change hand a few times. The new owners and their team are incredibly lovely and their food is great. Thereâs always a fish special and the seafood dishes do not scrimp on the portion size of seafood, like so many do.
I canât wait to go back. Just the thought of the garlic bread is making me drool.
We came in for the two for Tuesday deal. food came out hot and fast. i have a serious gluten allergy which our waiter Fin dealt with very well and was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and what was safe for me to have.
Found this lovely little cafe by accident but so glad we did! Had the halloumi sandwich (gluten free) and my friend had the feta and beetroot salad. Both dishes looked and tasted amazing. We then had the caramel apple pie (also gluten free). You have to have it warm as the caramel starts to melt into the apple and combined with a dusting of cinnamon it is absolutely divine!!
So lovely - amazing food, amazing service, one of the best dining experiences had in a long time. So many little extras. They did an amazing job catering for my daughter who has coeliacs disease and really went the extra mile. I would definitely come back here!
I am so happy I found this place. Every last detail is perfect, from the decor, to the aroma, the music, you instantly feel relaxed and at ease. Dee was so warm, welcoming and friendly and very helpful, advising us on the vegan and gluten free options. The food and flavours were delicious, I couldn't get enough. I can't wait to come back soon.
Great cafe in Canterbury where the pancakes are gluten free and they have so many vegan options. Staff are always friendly and the food is great. We often take the grandkids as the pancakes are fluffy, a really good portion size, great flavour choices & good value for money. Definitely go here if youâre in Canterbury
I really enjoyed my experiences with Tamago. The staff have always been kind and helpful and the food is delicious. I would love to see more gluten free Vegan options though so I could experience more, but the quality has always been brilliant! A must try! I especially recommend the gyoza!
Had a really nice Sunday roast, which included a really good gluten free option including Gf Yorkshire pudding.
The 1/3 pint sampling tray of 5 drinks was also good, allowed you to sample several different beers!
Amazing place, delicious, locally sourced food. The staff were incredible, so kind and brought our dog their famous puppacino! Really great for coeliacs too.
Great night with friends in this very old building. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Really appreciated the offer of gluten free and dairy free dishes on offer and the flexibility in offering whatever we wanted. Great cocktails too! Would definitely go again. Worth a night out with friends, a few drinks, snacks and a great choice of games. Thank you!
Came here for a family meal on Good Friday.
The gentleman behind the bar was quite stony faced and not particularly warm and welcoming or attentive with service but we were late for our table so I wondered if this was why. Our waiter, however, more than made up for this with a very warm demeanor and prompt service.
The gluten free menu was extensive. Children's menu was a little lacking in inspiration. Food was absolutely fabulous. We had cauliflower soup, harissa carrots and lamb shoulder with daphinoise potatoes to share. Just couldn't fault it at all. We eat out a lot and it is the first time in a really long time that we have genuinely enjoyed the quality of food on offer. Our waiter was fab from start to finish and very attentive. All other staff we encountered were warm and smiley.
We don't live in the area but are really glad we were able to eat here and we would definitely come back and highly recommend.
A lovely little place not far from the cathedral entrance. Coffee was really good, decor is lovely with lots of cute/cool decorations and objects which together work really well and most importantly for myself was that they offered gluten free bread for all of their sandwiches and toasted sandwiches. It was a really good gluten free bread too, held together well which if you know gluten free bread isnât often the case. I will be back on my next Canterbury trip!
So pleased to spot this place, saved us a long walk out of town. Also we were able to sit and being outside was convenient for us with our dog. Better still, I asked about gluten free and they were able to just flour the fish with gluten free flour and fry, no other chippy has given me that simple option. Some have special days for gluten free, good but not always the right time. Anyway both my floured fish and my husband's battered were really lovely and the chips were perfect. Many thanks.
We had a great time here for my birthday! We were staying in Canterbury for the weekend and happened to walk past, after searching the reviews we had to try it.
The gluten free pizza and pasta was some of the best Iâve had. They even brought over a baked gluten free cookie with a candle in it for dessert, which was so so delicious.
We had a wonderful, attentive waiter and the food arrived promptly!
So good we came back the next day for lunch!
Great place which caters to all allergy needs- gluten free/vegan/vegetarian. Lots of options to suit all requirements. Amazing gluten free chocolate cake , I'll be back !
For 1st time was a good experience, staff were happy to help as two of my guest were either vegan or gluten free, for gluten free they couldn't guarantee that no food contamination would occur, so my guest settled for salad and other stuff. Overall very good
Had a lovely time here. If youâve got an allergy, Iâd recommend just asking for what doesnât contain your allergy, the menu doesnât state allergens. The allergens sheet doesnât make sense. However, the did have a wonderful coffee cake that was gluten-free!! Although the service is a little slow, it is worth it!!
I have tried every sushi restaurant in Canterbury/Ashford, and Mister Miyagiâs is by far the best quality, best tasting and freshest sushi Iâve had! I crave sushi every time I come to Canterbury. They cantered for my gluten, dairy and soya intolerance well without skimping on serving size or quality.
