We had a disappointing experience during our recent visit. A friend ordered a gluten-free pizza, but unfortunately, the dough was undercooked. When we raised this with the manager, Hollie, her response came across as unprofessional and passive-aggressive. She mentioned that she is gluten intolerant and eats at the restaurant regularly, insisting the dough was fine—rather than acknowledging the issue.
We also had an issue with a Negroni, which was initially served with Prosecco. When it was returned, the replacement was made with only Campari. Upon pointing out that a proper Negroni should also include vermouth etc. the same manager implied that vermouth and Campari are the same, which is not accurate.
On a positive note, our waitress, Odema, was lovely and very professional throughout the evening. We appreciated that our concerns were acknowledged, and both the gluten-free pizza and the incorrect drink were removed from the bill. We also appreciated that the service charge was waived.
