The Cove Restaurant

I went to lunch with friends - food was fabulous and they were happy to accommodate my friend's gluten allergy. The view was beautiful even though we didn't have a window table, and our server was friendly, helpful - a pleasure to have at the table! They didn't hurry us out, so we truly got to enjoy our time together. Great restaurant all the way around!

I visited the Cove for the first time last night with my dear friend. Whenever I get a dinner invitation I get anxious the server will be irritated with my celiac and dairy food allergies. I can’t explain how many times I end up with neuropathy from gluten or hives from dairy because the server assumes I am fussy. I have never had such a wonderful experience in Vancouver as I did last night with Adam. When I mentioned my allergies he immediately identified the way I could enjoy every item on the menu. I own a local med spa 15 years now but put myself through school behind a bar and waiting tables. I always took pride in my job and if you sat at my table or bar you were at my home. Adam made us feel like this. I worked at the Ritz Carlton kapalua years ago as well and honestly Adam would have been the video they show for exceptional service. Very excited to have another place to dine. I will definitely call and make sure Adam is working. The food was excellent the bottle of wine was delicious and I was nervous to try oysters but pleasantly surprised. I could relax and enjoy my meal. Beyond impressed. Thank you so much Adam!!!!

Hands down, amazing! Gluten-free options, even desert! Everything we had was beautifully presented, from first bite to last. Each dish had the best flavors, with hints of I'm not sure what I'm tasting, but I need more of this! The prices were very reasonable. Beautiful sunny day, we sat outside. The music was nice and quiet. You could occasionally hear the train rumble past and watch the people, pets traverse the nice walking paths. The Columbia River is always a beautiful setting as boats of all shapes and sizes cruise by. Needless to say, we have a new favorite restaurant. We will be back!
