John Paul was an amazing server that went above and beyond to make our experience fun and memorable. He is a kind human who made us feel special and this really meant a great deal because my friends and I met for my birthday. We love the location and the food, but seriously Twigs is lucky to have John Paul on their staff. Thank you! I also appreciate that they have a vegan and a gluten free menu upon request.
Visited from out of town and as someone who is gluten free, I’ve never had so many options! Everything was delicious (for being gluten free haha) and I had a good experience. Wendy was our server and was not only super kind but also very patient with me and my questions and super willing to accommodate for me. I haven’t had French toast in literal years! Everything was great and if I’m ever in town again, I will definitely be coming back!
Burgerville is a half star above fast food. The indoor atmosphere is dated and typical, hard, uncomfortable fast food plastics. The food is sourced regionally as much as possible.
That said, the texture and quality of thier burger meat took a noticable dip for most of the last fifteen years. More recently, they have been working to bring standards back up in food quality. Prices have increased markedly...as they have everywhere.
That said, I and my spouse had the #6 burger, to go, with Carlton farms meat patty and melty white cheddar...all with the option of a Franz gluten free bun. I am celiac, so that is what we ordered.
I remember the fresh, cheesy, salty, perfect fat ratio burger mouthfee of old drive-ins when I was younger. The #6, with the Franz gluten free bun, was that fond memory revisited.
Our two quarter pounders and two regular fries came to about thirty...but four of that was the gluten free bun I am so thankful I have the option of.
I do wish they offered GF onion rings or kept sweet potato fries on the menu year round. Thier basic fries are ok...just need to be left in the oil another thirty seconds, I think.
The burgerville spread is heavy on the mustardy, vinegar notes. I mix some avacado mayo and bbq sauce with it and it's much improved for tater dipping.
For the quality, the knowledge I am supporting local ranchers and local farmers and the experience of employees who have never made me sick, Burgerville is the only burger stop for me in Clark County. I hope the Carlton farms patty is permenant. It's well worth paying a few notes more.
I used to love these burgers. I was recently diagnosed Celiac and it was so great to be able to actually eat somewhere because they are sure to make precoutions to keep me safe. As it it, the burgers are super expensive, but then adding a GF bun, it's an extra $2. Well, I was there last week and my burger was great. Today I ordered, drove home 3 minutes away like I usually do and not only was my burger cold by the time I got home but my $11 burger patty was SMALLER than my kids burgers!!!! It was 2.5 inches across. Like teeeeny. I ate it in 3 bites. I went back. Stood in front of about 5 employees and nobody asked if I needed help, they were just taking. Finally someone acknowledged me and I asked to speak with a manager. He didn't say if he was the manager or not and he wasn't very friendly either. He informed me that they are now making the pattys 1/4 lb and that's just how it is now, he did ask if I wanted them to re make it, but I didn't want spit in my food so I left and ate my ice cold $11 burger with not even melted cheese. I'm very disappointed. The price should go down if they are giving you smaller portions. Or at least inform people of the change. My 6 year olds burger was bigger than mine.... that's just pathetic.
If I could leave a zero star review I would. I waited for 40 minutes for my order and my family had already finished eating by the time mine arrived. My husband never received his full order even though they said multiple times they would get it to him: I have celiac and an egg allergy. I confirmed multiple times with the person taking my order that I had a gluten allergy, celiac and that precautions would be taken. Then I received a normal gluten bun made with eggs and I didn’t realize it until I ate two bites. When I finally got my refund the manager blamed the untrained staff and made excuses rather than just taking accountability for the mistake. Avoid this location.
Absolutely delicious! Went with my friend who is gluten free and they had so many gluten free options! We had lots of delicious food and drinks! 15/10 will always go back!
Spoke to one of the owners and he was very accommodating of my glutenfree needs. Had the beef brisket nachos and enjoyed the smokey flavor. Tried the "OAKspresso" martini and it was amazing!
Burgerville always has fast fresh food & beverages. Friendly service. Clean establishment.
Burgerville is one of the few Celiac friendly restaurants around.

I went to lunch with friends - food was fabulous and they were happy to accommodate my friend's gluten allergy. The view was beautiful even though we didn't have a window table, and our server was friendly, helpful - a pleasure to have at the table! They didn't hurry us out, so we truly got to enjoy our time together. Great restaurant all the way around!
Took my daughter here for her first time... we are gluten free. And they have gf fryers for their fries!!! They have gluten free buns and they have gluten free shakes so.... this is now her favorite place to eat! She loved it all and loved the decor! I told her how I used to eat here as a kid I. Middle and high school.over 20 years ago... and loves it even more
Cecilia is specializes in brunch, Mexican cuisine, and breakfast dishes, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The ambiance is cozy, but some diners feel it’s not ideal for a romantic dinner.
Popular dishes include Eggs Benedict with Beet-Cured Steelhead Lox, Biscuits and Gravy with Bacon and Eggs, and Tres Leches French Toast and seafood omelette, shrimp and grits, chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, Dutch baby pancake, and their signature doughnuts with berry compote as standouts.
The cocktails, including Bloody Marys and creative mixes like the “Walk of Shame,” receive strong compliments.
The restaurant features a modern French countryside-inspired decor that is cozy and trendy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for special occasions or casual dining.
The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and providing excellent service, often going the extra mile with personalized touches such as handwritten birthday notes and complimentary treats.
Cecilia also offers gluten-free options, though without gluten-free bread.
Amzazing! Pulled off the highway to avoid traffic for a while and found this gem!! Friendly, clean, and cozy. I am a pescatarian and gluten-free and they were very kind giving suggestions. I got the wedge salad with grilled shrimp instead of bacon and omg it was so flavorful and filling! I sat indoors but saw there was a cute outdoor seating area or patio. I will visit again!
Wow on ambiance both inside and outside. Inside has vibe of more of the older house cafes you’d find in Portland. Love it! Outside feels like a garden patio. Great summertime dog friendly patio. They have a walk up window outside so you don’t have to worry about what to do with your pup while you order! Now for the quality of drinks and snacks, 5 stars across the board. My husband ordered the salted caramel mocha and he said it was scrumptious. It was served in a large ceramic mug, and I ordered a honey chai. That was absolutely delicious. We also ordered two snacks. The gluten-free peanut butter bar would never have guessed it was gluten-free because it was just soooo good. The salted caramel treat was also delectable. The only reason it’s four star is because the customer service was more like a two star experience. I would say being generous because everything else was completely on point otherwise this would be the most perfect café in Vancouver. For some reason the server was just generally grouchy, and a few of us tried to make her smile, but she was just determined to be unhappy apparently. She was working by herself and maybe was feeling a bit, overwhelmed at the end of a long day. We can’t wait to come back.
Cute coffee place with delicious coffee. I enjoyed it on the patio, it was much quieter. Loved their gluten and dairy free sweet treats that they had to offer.
Had heard so many good things about this place and wanted to give it a try but ended up a really disappointing experience. Ordered online for a pick up order and was able to select no bun and also requested no ham on my burger. I guess I should know by now to check the order, especially if you have a 15 minute drive to get home, wasn’t about to go back at that point. Since no bun was an actual choice you could make I did not think it would be a problem Neither of my requests were honored. Good thing I don’t have celiac disease or I probably could not have eaten most of it. Also lost a lot of the sauce that was absorbed into the bun. Word to the wise , if you’re making any special requests, you better check it before driving off.
I can't put into words what a pleasant surprise it was to stumble across this hidden jem.
My wife is celiac so finding a place that has so many Gluten free options and is this knowledgeable is a win!
Amazing food, GF, Dairy free and even vegan options. We always try to sit at the bar so we can ask alot of questions about food options.
From the bar tender to the manager and especially the chef this place is a must go for scrumptious food, drinks and amazing atmosphere!
We're definitely going back!
Thank you Coral Club for a fantastic time.
I'm allergic to everything except salads. So all I ate here was a salad. They have no gluten free bread, buns or corn tortillas. Service is always great.
Had a great experience. The food was good and service was fast and friendly. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed food from the happy hour menu. Would have liked more gluten free options but was still able to find a tasty option.
Great at gluten free! They use gloves, separate water for the gf pasta, etc. The pasta was a tiny bit more al dente than I was looking forward to. They had the perfect amount of sauce. The shrimp was good. I had gluten free shrimp alfredo. I would have liked just a little more pasta. I went across the parking lot and got some gf fries. The people at Nostra Tavola are very nice. Next time I will ask them to add broccoli to get more food. I’m learning that serving size is common everywhere for gf pasta. It was over $30. It only took them 15 minutes.
If you're looking for "different" then this place is likely for you. While Andina offers a unique twist on Peruvian fare, most people are familiar with tapas. You're likely not familiar with Georgian inspired food though so Dediko will provide you (and your taste buds) a unique tasting experience in a relaxed setting with good service. The food is earthy and unpretentious but it won't be for everyone. If you like interesting uses of things like taragon, pomegranate and dill then this is the place to go! Dediko also boasts several gluten free options without sacrificing the culinary curiosity it offers. Recommend at least once!

My wife is celiac so finding great food that is safe for her to eat at restaurants is not always easy. This place is a must try for celiac / gluten free options. Careful of cross contamination and knowledgeable.
It was good, nice portions. Service was nice as well. Everything about the dinner was average to good. The great news if they have a gluten free lava cake for dessert! Normal prices for what you get. Will be coming back for that gluten free dessert.
I had a ham and cheese omelet, which was pretty good and they did have gluten free bread. However, it was not the greatest omelet ever, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, it was a little too greasy. The service was a little slow, but our server was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing but it would be more appropriate for a romantic evening meal rather than Sunday brunch.
Had a lovely brunch. I had a memory of them having more gluten free offerings in the past, though. I'm not sure if that's a mixed memory or a menu shift. I'd love to see more gluten free breakfast options than omelets again in future but it was very tasty.
This place has a lot of seating and gives diner vibes. We got seated right away and got drinks, however we waited about 15 minutes for our server to take our order (even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy) The food was pretty good and while they don’t have gluten free bread they have delicious gluten free pancakes!
I recently visited Presso Cafe and was impressed by their accommodation for gluten-free options. As someone with a gluten allergy, I ordered the gluten-free salmon sandwich, and since the bread slices were smaller, they generously served two sandwiches. The sandwiches were delicious, with the pickled onions perfectly pulling all the flavors together. The coffee was good, though I wish they offered more options for sugar-free syrups. The service was great—the ladies working there were very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a lovely experience, and I’ll definitely be returning!
The food was pretty good. I was glad that it wasn't dripping in grease, but I was less than impressed with the potatoes. Also, I wish they had gluten-free pancakes and French toast. It was a cute little diner, family friendly, just a little cramped.
To start my wife and I have food sensitivity. She is gluten and lactose intolerant. I have recently become allergic to all seafood.
Our waiter was very accommodating to our food allergies.
As far as the food it was fantastic, every bite was delicious and full of flavor.
I will recommend anyone who asks to try this restaurant.
Stephanie was a fantastic server, even let us know they had a gluten free bread option! When you can't eat at home, eat at Lisa's Country Kitchen, it's better food and you don't have to do the dishes.
When I saw the difference in size between the excellent grilled cheese sandwich that I had and the excellent although gluten free sandwich my potential business partner had I didn’t know whether I was on some YouTube prank show or whether I had fallen into the wrong side of a telescope.
How do you sit across from someone you are treating to something special and it looks like it comes out of a joke box? You have my sandwich, and then the mini me sandwich! It would have been even more embarrassing if it hadn’t looked so ridiculous as to have been funny. She mentioned the place down the street gives two because the loaves are so much smaller.
Well I have to say, it’s a bad look.
The Chai was good, but it was just lukewarm. I suppose I could have gone back inside and asked to have it warmed up, but first impressions count.
And my impression here is that they’re hip and they’re downtown and that’s enough.
Stop and look at what you’re doing. Make that chai hot. Make those portions equal.
Go the extra mile.
So here is my edit and response…
Thank you for responding to my review, although it kind of goes to prove my point.
Regarding the chai… One does not sit down and gulp ones chai all at one go. So making it warm is kind of pointless. I don’t rush to my table and drink it all at once. I want to sit and savor it. By the time I got that to the table. It was just warm by the time I’ve had a few sips. It was lukewarm, no one likes lukewarm chai. By the time I had talked to my friend for a few minutes it was cold, and cold chai is disgusting. I learned to make chai from a North African governess in 1973 and have been making it ever since.
One does not sit down and gulp their beverage boiling hot, but rather waits for it to reach the proper temperature. Exactly like any fine tea.
And concerning the ridiculous size difference of the gluten free bread.
Instead of saying you get that it looks stupid but that’s the choice you make, you could say you hear the customer and are continuing to seek a better answer. But what you do is just say, we’re great.
But that plate is still an embarrassment for someone taking out a prospective business partner and doesn’t reflect well on your business. Whatever your reason is.
Very nice place the people were very accommodating and the food was yummy they also took gluten free into account so I highly recommend them for all of you people who are looking for yummy gluten free places
I love this place! It's vegan and has gluten-free options. There is plenty for those not limited to eat as well. My other half only has a shrimp allergy, so there are no issues here.
They have banana bread, gluten-free pancakes, and immolation "Just egg" in their burritos. If, like myself, avoiding gluten is not by choice, you can have a burrito bowl. They are delicious too. Everyone I have brought here loves their fake sausage (jackfruit) and steak. The steak has such a good imitation of meat strands that it fooled two meat eaters in my family.
They have great sauces on their dishes, and you can't tell it is fake egg (thanks late life allergies).
The pancake is best eaten fresh and hot. It is delicious, with the great moist, springiness that a pancake should have.
There are also matcha tea drinks, hot chocolate and half-and-half...a half drip coffee and half hot chocolate. It usually comes with roasted mini marshmallows, and if you can have the gluten, Graham cracker crumble.
Tip: Subbing ingredients here gets expensive fast. Just order things as is and try something different each time.
Street parking is free, and there is a very small set of parking spaces beside the taproom they are beside.
The taproom doesn't open until 11am, but you can take you Scratch food inside. They have great options for tap cider and beer, as well as a bottle shop.
There is an outdoor patio to sit at. There are a couple of propane heat sources, but it has been really hit or miss on if they are operating on cold and wet mornings.
The pizza here used to be really good and the best gluten free and dairy free pizza in Vancouver but they have made changes and they no longer offer vegan cheese and the gluten free crust is now denser and thinner, not much different than dominoes at this point.
We enjoyed popping into Joe Brown’s for the first time! The menu is super robust and they also have gluten free bread.
The service and atmosphere were super welcoming and warm. Looking forward to visiting again.
