We stopped in on a busy Sunday and they were short staffed but the food and service were still excellent. Really nice place with a great menu and wonderful food with lots of gluten free options.

Why on earth this place did not have a packed house is beyond me. Recently we were looking for a gluten friendly place to eat and we gave The Crafty Dog a try. We were pleasantly surprised that just about anything you order can be made gluten free. I had the Cajun mac and cheese and it was mouthwatering. Just the right spice and every bite was delicious. My wife loved her meal even though I do not recall what she ate since it has been a few weeks since we were there. The help was friendly and welcoming to families, not jst sports junkies. Great place and we will be back if we make it to Kearney again.
