The Garden Restaurant

My first time at the garden last night and it was 100/10. I cannot wait to return. The freshly prepared and never frozen meals were to die for. With a menu thats predominantly vegan and gluten free this place could easily fit into your dietary needs. Colorful presentations and the staff is top shelf. The Dubai chocolate desserts and plates of fruit were such a treat after a long day.

We really enjoyed our meal here—the food was delicious, the prices fair, and the service warm and friendly. One small note: we had called ahead to ask about celiac (strict medical gluten-free) options, but when we arrived it seemed our server wasn’t fully familiar with what that meant vs gluten free for a preference. After double-checking with the staff inside, everything worked out fine. It might just help if all servers had a bit more guidance on this, since it’s a medical condition and while some staff seem to understand it well, others may not. Overall, though, it was a great experience - especially from the friendly and welcoming services - and we’d be happy to come back!

I ate here and was unfortunately glutened. I asked for a gluten free wrap and discussed the best GF options, but I believe they served me a non-GF wrap. I think the server didn’t know what gluten was/what it was in. Some of the recommendations she made, in retrospect, didn’t make sense. (She suggested that I get baklava or a particular type of cook for desert as a gluten free option. I should have asked more questions but by the time the desert conversation happened it was too late.) I’ve heard good things from other GF folks who have gone here, so I’m sure it was just an accident — just make sure to double check!
