Jay was the most knowledgeable, attentive and kind server! He graciously helps you navigate the large menu by giving sincere recommendations. I have celiac and need extra reassurance that my meal will be prepared gluten free. He made the experience excellent and we will be back thanks to him!
An upscale take on a typical Israeli hummus and skewers restaurant. You'll share a huge number of veggie apps for the table, with as many refills as you want, and then everyone orders a main dish (which you can also share). We were blown away by the fish, but underwhelmed but the cauliflower. Great attention to allergies and lots of gluten free options. Like the apps, dessert is also included with the main course. We ended up spending surprisingly less than expected.
Absolutely amazing experience, food, and service!!! Me and my family a few times before and each time has been great. I personally have celiac disease meaning I can have gluten and they are super accommodating, I have never gotten sick, and they don’t up-charge for gluten free substitutions. The portions are gigantic and for meat and pasta dishes you definitely get your moneys worth. Although they are on the pricey side 10/10 across the board and we will be having leftovers for a while :)
We had an amazing birthday meal last Friday. My girlfriend has celiac disease and can’t eat gluten. The chefs here, particularly Seth and Ann Marie, take extra precautions and accountability to ensure their meals are prepared with allergies and quality in mind. We unfortunately can’t eat here all the time as the heavy price matches their exemplary quality, but any special occasion or family that comes in town we’ll be sure to swing by… hopefully to enjoy some music.
Thank you Thea!
Excellent food and very friendly service from the owner. As a family with someone dealing with celiac disease, we especially appreciate the gluten free options.
I have celiac so it can be challenging to find a place to eat that is safe, delicious, and has a decent number of menu items to pick from but this place absolutely blew me away. Almost every item on the menu can be made gluten free and the owner has family with celiac so they are very knowledgeable about safe preparation and cross contamination. I felt entirely comfortable ordering and he was so kind and helpful throughout our dinner. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and WOW. I wanted to lick the plate, it was SO GOOD.
I was only diagnosed in the past few months and it has been a really hard adjustment, so finding this place and having such a great experience really meant a lot to me. Thank you!
Not your usual gluten free pizza crust (incredibly good), the waitress assured me they cooked the gf pizzas in a special pan to avoid cross contamination in their wood fired oven. REALLY good food, and portions were big. Everyone liked their food, everyone had leftovers.
Also, when bread and olive oil we're brought to the table, they brought a separate dish for my oil (didn't need to ask!) and some gluten free bread. Really appreciated.
My husband and I as well as two friends recently ate here. Food and service was great. Over the thanksgiving holiday I ordered catering and it was also perfect! It’s nice they also have gluten free options.
Fantastic food. Everything is made from scratch. We loved everything we got. Vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options make it a great spot for a mixed diet crowd.
The team running this location is incredible - they truly exemplify synergy. They’re so efficient without sacrificing kindness and support. Such a great lunch! Also, my partner is gluten-free and dairy-free and had no problem identifying delicious options. Shout out to Lorraine and her team!
Excellent food and service, good size portions, wonderful ambiance. Home made ice cream; baklava, vegan and gluten free options. Very accommodating for our children as well. 10/10 would visit again!
I love Aladdin’s. They have so many gluten free, vegetarian, and vegetarian options. The waitress was very accommodating to my gluten allergy and the baba ganoush was so good. The feel is family owned and local!
If you are looking for a good Middle Eastern food Aladdin's Eatery at Mt. Lebanon is best place to get it. They not only simplify menu by labels such V-for vegetarian VG-vegan GF-gluten free N-contains nuts, but you also get a great choice of smoothies and delicious shareable (cakes are that big) desserts. Depending on a time of the day place can be packed because it’s not that big so you might consider take out. Otherwise atmosphere is so nice that it makes the place be a great place for the dates. I only give it 4 stars because I think they need to offer better tea and coffee-something more than just regular ones.
Loved it!! Everything we ordered was amazing especially the steak lamb small plate and the steak frites! Service was great and almost everything could be made gluten free.
I drove by one evening on the way to my daughter's senior picture session. It smelled SO GOOD! My husband and I went tonight for dinner, and the food tasted as good as it smelled the night I drove by.
They conveniently have labeled their menu with various dietary needs like gluten free, vegetarian, and more. Having the menu accessible online is also a huge plus when you are a family of various food allergies.
Was in Philly for two weeks and almost exclusively ate here, since I have Celiac it’s hard to find places that carry gluten free. Food was always great and the customer experience was great. Definitely worth a trip even if it’s just for a shake.
So delicious! Their menu is gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, keto and nut free friendly. Additionally, all of the nutritional information for their menu is available online for those watching anything from fat to sodium.
I ordered too much. Much too much. Way too much. To my defense, I’ve never seen a cup of soup come in a 10 inch bowl before. I don’t have any clue what they put the bowl size portion in but I’m pretty certain it is more than I can handle even in the most famished circumstances. Their V Nine soup is the lowest sodium soup offerings and I love salt, so I was interested to try it and see what I might need to add. The answer was absolutely nothing. A perfect, hearty vegan vegetable soup.
My favorite was the spicy cauliflower appetizer. They offer this cauliflower in rolls, entrees and even on their signature “pitzas”. Super tasty and the appetizer portion was generous.
When I ordered the Lebanese Salad I did so because I was interested in sampling the house dressing. I had no idea that the portion would be so immense. The spices and herbs are what make a true Lebanese Salad distinctive…and nothing was missing here. My appetite only allowed for me to finish half (because … well … dessert).
Widjan, who owns the restaurant, is lovely and extremely welcoming. It is clear she is proud of the cuisine they offer as well she should be. Max was a great help when I placed a catering order. He made all the right suggestions and completely understood my plant based needs. Nova recommended one of the best pieces of chocolate cake I’ve ever enjoyed…so while she was wonderful, she could have taken an hour with the check and I would have forgiven anything.
This is a franchise chain but owned and operated locally. Widjan was working both the front and back of the house. So, if you like consistency and the type of menu a franchise can offer, but making a personal connection is important, you will feel at home at Aladdin’s in McMurray.
Everything was wonderful. We let the server know that our daughter had a gluten allergy and the manager came out shortly after to make sure she knew all of our family's dietary needs and alerted the kitchen to take precautions to avoid cross contamination. The staff handled everything wonderfully.
Anthos has very quickly become my new favorite spot for brunch on weekends. The atmosphere is a great vibe and the staff is so friendly. The food is AMAZING and the lattes are incredible too. If you’re gluten free too their bread is so yummy and honestly the best bread I’ve ever had. The owner gave me and my boyfriend a free bakery item the first time we were in just for being first timers. Everything is fresh and delicious and even after having a huge brunch we didn’t feel sick or stuffed from eating too much. You can tell they use healthy ingredients and put so much effort and love into their business and customers.
The BEST greek food around the area! I've eaten here several times, both take out and dine in, and the service is always awesome and the food even better. I don't think you could get a bad thing on the menu... my favorite is the chicken gyro!
There are great vegan and gluten free options as well.
We had dinner again tonight at Olive Garden. It is always a great experience. I am never disappointed in the gluten-free rotini with marinara sauce and grilled chicken. Outstanding !
Tonight we had the joy of having Kori as our server. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and delightfully pleasant! The great food and Kori guarantee that we will return! 😊
We had a great stop here for lunch on a trip up 81. We split a falafel sandwich, Shack Fries, and the daily special Okra Fries, then a falafel and pita for our toddler. The food was amazing and the staff was so kind to us.
They brought our son his water out in a little cup with a silicone elephant lid to prevent spills. It was very fun and I had not seen that before! They had an affordable kids menu, and since our toddler doesn't eat much they also had a la carte options like individual falafel and pita for $1 - $3 so we could make our own quick meal for him.
My husband also has a gluten allergy and could eat much if the menu without modification, but the menu is also highlighted with what can be made gluten free. We had the falafel sandwich with a gluten free pita, and it was delicious. Cross contamination isn't an issue for us, but if it is for you, they let us know the frying oil is changed out every Monday and Friday. If you get there early those days or call in to say you're coming, they can save one fryer to not fry and gluten containing ingredients for you. The staff were all very accommodating to my husband's allergy which was very appreciated.
Highly recommend!
This was a horrible experience. We have gone there in the past several times with no issues. My wife is allergic to Gluten and has a bad reaction to gluten. So we asked the waitress if they had Gluten Free bread she said yes but we put them in the SAME toaster as regular bread. OMG did they ever hear of cross contamination? So the waitress said we might be able to make something up for you but we’re busy so we won’t be able to. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she’s busy. I insisted I wanted to speak to a manager. We waited for maybe 5 minutes. I got so fed up I left. This is not a GLUTEN FREE PLACE. I think they need to educate employees and management. I find the waitress was very incompetent in what Gluten was and was not willing to work with us at all , she would have rather not be bothered. Poor help if ya ask me and the people I was with.
PLEASE EDUCATE THE EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT on what GLUTEN is and the side affects. I’m wondering how many people had side affects from eating here when they have an allergic reaction since there not educated. Never recommend this place.
Really wonderful service and food! The server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gluten free options. The meals were good portions and excellent taste.
What a great restaurant in downtown Bethlehem. Our server, Veronica, was outstanding. Our friends we brought in, she needs Gluten-Free. She has Celiac and this restaurant understands it. Crab cakes are wonderful, the octopus appetizer is very tasty. It’s not real big, but food is great.
Best grilled turkish and middle eastern food in Pittsburgh. Appetizers were great. Rice is without past so great for gluten free option seekers. They were very familiar with celiacs and helped me figure out what to avoid. The food was amazing!
This Pita Chip in Yardley is the best! Clean, excellent hard-working and knowledgeable employees! Especially KAYLEE, who went out of her way to alleviate my anxiety about my concerns with Gluten Free options. She is so kind and patient and I have had no issues with the Gluten Free choices. You must try the Macaroons! They are excellent, not overly sweet, but soft and chewy with dark chocolate shavings! Made in-house! The Chicken Shawarma and the spicy chicken Kabob are truly addicting! Fresh delicious sauces - the garlic sauce and the Signature Pita Chip Hot Sauce are yummy. If you have any dietary concerns call and ask to speak with KAYLEE.
Pleasantly surprised by the menu!
Had a GLUTEN FREE chicken Gryo! The veggies were fresh, the chicken was tender & delicious! I could only eat half!!
Definitely on our rotation!
This restaurant is a gem!! We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for one that had gluten free options. The food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant and bathroom are clean and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 would eat here again the next time we’re in Wilkes-Barre.
It's your typical Olive Garden. What my wife discovered is that she can eat here because they provide gluten-free options. Our waitress was very attentive. It was a good place to eat for our granddaughter's birthday celebration.
We stopped then on a Saturday night around 9:00 p.m. 2 hours before they closed. We came in with a party of 11 from a long day at Knoebels, upon walking in we were told that they messed up and sent server's home early and they understaffed for such a large party but would accommodate. We wait about 10 minutes and we were seated our waitress Jensyn was great she let us know they were understaffed as the manager sent people home early by mistake even though it was a Saturday and homecoming for the local town but assured us we would be taking great care of and that was the case up until the food came out orders got mixed up and we had a gluten allergy with us so meals had to be recooked which was understandable being short staffed and a large party upon the second time of receiving the meals they were still wrong and steak was way undercooked after the third time they got it right, cooks seem to be in a hurry to get out the door, so after having some stuff comped and some stuff recooked we managed to finish our meal if it wasn't for Jensyn our waitress this review would have been way worse if it wasn't for her upbeat attitude amazing attentiveness and quick to fix the mistakes even though it wasn't her fault the manager ended up cooking our steak on the third go only reason im leaving five stars is because Jensyn and the manager went above and beyond for us, no compliments to the chefs.
Nothing bad to say about this place. Food was outstanding, atmosphere was gorgeous, service was great, and there was live music in the bar section of the restaurant. There are three main seating areas that I noticed - a private room for parties, a bar area, and the main dining room that also has counter seating at the large kitchen window. Additionally, a member of our group has celiac disease and they accommodated her strict gluten free needs.
The food here is extremely good, I highly suggest going here for a well portioned healthy meal. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly and I believe they have gluten free options too. Me and my fiancée had (in order by picture) baba gannoujh, hummus, alladins kebab wrap, and finally flafflel and hummus wrap. For dessert we had the baklava and the tiramisu. And for a drink we had black iced tea (i highly suggest getting) I personally had the kebab wrap and that was amazing. It was extremely flavorful and pretty much addicting to eat. I had a bite of the flaffel wrap too and it was very very good as well. I fell IN LOVE with the baba gannoujh and highly suggest that as a pita side. The baklava I had was the diamond one which is made with walnut and it was very very tast highly suggest. The waitress serving us was very nice, I think her name was lily. She always made sure we were accommodated and was very patient when I asked questions. Food came out well paced and well presented, which is something I appreciated. The atmosphere is nice, i actually really loved the decor and such of the restaurant. It was very inviting and I liked the use of mirrors and large windows to make the space feel bigger. ALSO: all the things we got around 48$ so about 24 each if the bill is split.
Best Arabic food I’ve ever had! Lots of gluten free options too - the server was understanding and accommodating to celiac. Excellent experience for everyone
