We enjoyed eating our poached eggs on toast at this location. We sat outside and our waitress was very kind. They have gluten free bread available and a few gluten free pastries.

Grateful for the very friendly customer service, the gluten free options, and the fact that service was very quick. However, we ordered three GF toasties to take away and two slices of cake and i was expecting much more for such a highly rated place. Toasties were literally toasted and quite dry slices bread with the fillings. No butter in sight, or actually toasted under a grill or press or anything, so very underwhelming. Cakes had a nice flavour but also fairly dry texture. Ordered a freshly squeezed juice and it just came out of a jug in the fridge, likely just from a big batch squeezed earlier in the day. While it was convenient for grabbing a packed lunch to have on the go, i don’t think i’d go back in a rush.

I walked past the Ginger Coo, but something was drawing me in, and I'm so glad I did. I am Gluten-free (not by choice), so there aren't many places. However, the Ginger Coo offer the Gluten-free alternative 😉 and if you are celiac they cook the bits in different fryers or hot plates. Nadia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what i could have and they have a book if unsure about the ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed with music playing in the background. For those that are not Gluten-free there is an array of different cakes from all over like Canoli in several flavours, Apple pie, Cheesecakes different flavours, Danishes, Traybakes, biscuits, cookies, Muffins, Marlenka, cakes and much more to say the least 😋. They have not forgotten anyone there is Vegan Cheesecake and Lemon cake, for us Gluten-free folke thay have gf Carrot Cake and Marlenka (this is best served warm). People please visit this little bistro you will be surprised as we were. Just super i can't fault any of the food and drink and I can't thank Nadia and Talo enough for their help and support around my dietary requirements.
