The table settings have all the loveliness of a sunny Sunday picnic, with sweet bright touches (string lights, potted plants, etc.)—like a Sunday picnic at an evil-free cow farm! My wife had the “smashed avocado” on toast (yes, the meme-iest millennial meal; we perpetuate the stereotype, gladly) and a hot chocolate. I gobbled down the reuben, which was a creamy and tangy sandwich tower of gut-gladdening comfort food. For dessert we enjoyed a (gluten-free) coffee and chocalate cake—oh dear lord it was soul-warming!

BEST GLUTEN AND DAIRY FREE INDIAN RESTAURANT IN ALL OF EDINBURGH. If anyone has any dietary requirements and are visiting Edinburgh, look no further than the Pakora Bar. The severs were so friendly and helpful when it came to pointing which foods were available to me and my mum. Don’t get me started with the food, it was the best Indian I have ever had. I was in pure heaven. The prices are also very reasonable. The staff is so chatty and passionate about the food here and it really shows.

Love this restaurant. Being gluten free it’s tough trying to find a decent Chinese restaurant, let alone a great one. Service is fantastic, just hope they make it bigger in the future. I would say value for money compared to othere chinese restaurants in Edinburgh it is not brill (portion is pretty small), hence knocking down a star.

I've tried DD's in 3 places now and it's been good every time. The menu changes frequently as does the location though the vibe of the cafe in Marchmont is great for brunch. The fried chicken is nice and crispy and a real treat if avoiding gluten (and also if not!). I highly recommend the Korean waffle if it's available (pictured at the Bellfield gf brewery popup). Very interesting flavours and not something you see everyday even with gluten. They even sometimes have guest pop-ups themselves in Marchmont which is a brilliant idea.

If you look past the price, like two croquettes for £12, it's amazing. Although it's called "Junk", it's essentially fine dining with a casual atmosphere. So it's not a place you'd go often for brunch. Junk are present in Edinburgh Street Food, which is FANTASTIC. Unfortunately it gives you a wrong expectation of the restaurant (as Junk in ESF is much cheaper and the portions are big, so opposite). Anyway, the food is definitely delicious, drinks are really good and the staff are lovely. So all really really good.....but it's odd to pay such a high price for small portions, with a 12.5% included tip. We hope the staff are paid fairly and well! I would definitely recommend Gluten free options available
