A must visit for any beer lover due to their extensive and varied draft offerings. It’s also iconic for the Maine brewery scene. The first bar to offer Allagash White on draft and the rest is history. They continue to be important for the Maine beer/brewery scene with the newest addition is a dedicated gluten free tap that always features gluten free beers (including local gluten-free brewery Orange Bike). Besides the big reason for beer lovers to visit they also have a huge food menu so even the pickiest eater in your party will find something they enjoy! My wife and I started off by splitting their super pulled pork nachos and they were so good!! They have tons of burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, cheesesteaks, salads, etc! My only knock is the fries could be more seasoned and a different style/cut. Some may enjoy them but I would likely pass and have another side. Service is friendly and they are busy but may be understaffed at times so may have some long waits at times. Despite that food came out quickly! Parking may be limited so street parking may be your best option.
