Very, very disappointing. We first found High Hat on a post Katrina visit and it was awesome. Our experience Tuesday (1/2) will be our last. Server told us they were out of BBQ shrimp. My wife is gluten-free. Instead of trying to work with us on an appropriate entrée, she offered fried popcorn shrimp. Huh? We found Pascal's Manale and had a glorious meal.

It was a busy place when I visited, but I didn't have to wait. I ate the special, which was flounder and mushrooms in a sauce and it was DELICIOUS. I met the owner, who was wiping down tables, which I loved to see him on the floor with everyone. He was kind and recommended the special I got.
I have celiac and did not get sick here, either! Definitely recommend!
