Some of the best breakfast of my entire life. Sublime. The namesake pancakes are as good as you'd want them to be, rich, complex, savory. Each variety or different type of cake hits such different notes and is such a delight to try. Even the gluten free pancakes, definitely not my thing, were vastly enjoyed by my mom who because of dietary restrictions couldn't have anything else. She asks me if we can come back here very often. As for anything else here, you may have had better eggs elsewhere I can't speak to that. But the pancakes in particular are of an unreal quality, I've taken friends here and they've agreed with me on how great it is here. And I'm not ragging on the other meals you can have here either, I've mostly stayed pancake exclusive myself, but the eggs I've had were also of an above average quality to say the least. The place is well maintened and really looks like a cheesecake factory, but less, I dunno, in your face? I like it a lot. Very homey, but still classy. Overall, great place, great food, and I've only had great service.

I’m always on the lookout for good gluten free pancakes and Original Pancake House has some pretty good ones. I had the breakfast special, scrambled egg, bacon and 2 gluten free pancakes, which were very large and a nice texture. My wife had the sausage and eggs on rye toast, which she said was good (but nothing special). My rating is mostly for the gluten free pancakes, for which good ones are hard to find.
