The Palms Sydney

The Palms is a fabulous combination of nursery, homewares and restaurant. Due to its popularity they couldn’t seat us in the main dining room at lunchtime on a Saturday with no reservation, but no matter, there’s a more casual cafe in the garden out back that’s almost as good. The menu is more limited - pizza and fish and chips and burgers for example, but the setting can't be beat. The garden is lovely, and amazingly, even the gluten free pizza turned out pretty good.

Such an beautiful restaurant and nursery serving up fresh, good food and a really big nursery with lots of plants and decorations. Everything is set up really nicely and the food is also really good! Make sure to book in advance if you are planning to come for lunch ( especially on a weekend ) but lucky for us, we came on a late sunday afternoon for lunch with no booking and we were able to find a free bench outside! We ordered a couple dishes like the scallops which were really good, the flatbread and labneh, lobster roll, gluten free pizza and the salmon! I had the salmon and it was really nice and fresh with the pea and mint puree at the bottom. The gluten free pizza was not bad as well. I would come back as this is a beautiful place for a nice meal and / or some shopping for the garden!
