The Pint and Brew

I had the smokehouse grilled cheese (on gluten free bread) and a dip of tomato bisque. They both were excellent!

So, the good stuff first: the beer selection was good (not just another wall of IPAs) and the lines were clean. Front-of-house service was good, knowledgeable and attentive. The bad: No gluten-free bread when we visited, which meant that the only gluten-free options were salads. And then, buried in the bottom of the arugula on my wife's burrata salad, was a handful of macaroni. I understand there's always the possibility of cross contamination, but that's ridiculous. There's no acceptable excuse for those streams to be crossing; I don't want to imagine how that happened. Grilled cheese sandwich was way over-cooked (any more burnt and I would have sent it back) and the mac 'n cheese had an offensive amount of black pepper. The only reason to come here is the beer list. I probably won't come back. Update: My wife is sick from her dinner. I removed one star. Very disappointed.
