The Square Root

Not only is the food incredible, but the staff, chefs, and owners are in a class of their own. My husband recently discovered he has Celiac, and we rarely eat out as a result. I am from Asheville, and we even have trouble finding places consistently Celiac-friendly there. We risked going to Square Root recently at my suggestion because I’d been a decade ago and remember it being fantastic and considerate regarding dietary issues. We were not disappointed, and we keep going back. John is a wonderful waiter and we have been lucky enough to have his help every time we’ve gone. I cook a lot, and it takes a good deal to impress me. Everything on Square Root’s menu is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

The manager and our waiter were both VERY accommodating to our son's gluten allergy. The service was exceptional, and the food was equally impressive. We ordered the pretzel charcuterie, chicken lettuce wraps (on special), the trout, and salmon. Highly recommend!

Geeat atmosphere. The brussel sprouts were out of this world. The cedar plank salmon was very delicious. For dessert, we split the key lime pie. Nice ending to the lunch. The server did ask about dietary restrictions and offered some gluten-free options. A must stop if you are in the area.
