The Standard Restaurant and Lounge

Service was phenomenal, our server did a fantastic job for our large party of 10. The food was delicious. I wish they also had gluten-free bread available when they brought bread and butter to the table for everyone. I was unable to enjoy any, and it smelled so good! The atmosphere was pretty good. But...our table was directly next to the kitchen area and where they stacked all their dishes. So, each time any waitstaff went in/out of the kitchen or dropped off dishes, it was loud and it became difficult to hear others speaking at our table. Overall though, it was a good night.

Our server, Marnie, was perfect! She took excellent care of our party of four last night. The perfect amount of attention to every detail including not letting our water glasses or wine glasses go dry, checking in with us the perfect amount without being intrusive, laughing at my husband’s jokes (that’s a big one! 😆). As someone whose diet is gluten free and a pesca-vegetarian, I was thrilled to see that there were several choices for me. I chose the house salad with simply grilled salmon. Marnie brought me a delicious, toasted, gluten free bun to go along with it and I was oh so happy! I enjoyed the salmon (nice sized and perfectly cooked) and a few bites of the salad and half of the roll, and had plenty to take home for two more meals. This may become our go-to place.
