This restaurant is a true gem! Gluten free individuals this is your spot!! I was diagnosed with Celiac disease two years ago and have been trying to find great gluten free restaurants in the capital district and Athos is now my new favorite. The number of items on the menu that are gluten free are tremendous!! They brought over pita bread prior to our food arriving and when I asked if it was gluten free, they said no but that they would happily make a fresh batch of GF pita for me in 5 minutes. The GF pita bread was incredible!! All of the food was absolutely outstanding - I'm a picky fish eater and both my husband and I ordered fish dishes (salmon and branzino) and both were incredible! Fresh, not fishy, and two of the most delicious preparations of fish that we have ever tasted. Their cocktail and wine selection is also fantastic! We both love high quality, craft cocktails and Athos did not disappoint! They also have a wonderful collection of Greek wine that was so delicious with our halloumi appetizer. This restaurant was an 11 out of 10 - it's a MUST for everyone - gluten free or not!! The only question left is that I'm not sure if they have a dedicated fryer so Celiac's make sure to ask.

We celebrated a family get together here and there was vegetarian and vegan options available for those seeking that in the menu. Cocktails/mocktails are tasty and the place has a warm ambiance.
