Popped in for lunch on a sunny Sunday after walking around Carsington reservoir. Huge menu, something for everyone…I had a steak sandwich which came with Stilton and red onions and chips…they were able to deconstruct and take out the bread and switch my chips as I am gluten and potato intolerant. Rest of the my fellow diners had steak sandwich and the burger…all extremely pleased with theirs too. Sorry forgot to take photos too hungry and busy eating! 🤣 Thanks next time we are in the area we will be back for sure!

This is my new favourite and frankly only pub restaurant in near Derby area. The young waiting team are so incredibly willing to help and provide the best customer service they can; so rare nowadays! The food is superb and really generous portions. As a family with a gluten free grandparent, a fussy vegetarian daughter, a meat eating husband, and myself a pescetarian; it is so rare to find a menu with plenty of delicious options that cater for everyone. We have taken three sets of family here in the past 3 months and had a superb experience every time. Well done, keep up the great work!!!!
