The Toasted Yolk Cafe

We had a great meal at Toasted Yolk. My family really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and the french toast. The omelette was also very good. Our server was nice and accommodating. For gluten free options, if you're there for breakfast, the only options are really a form of eggs or avocado toast. The location is very convenient.

I hate being this person because I’ve been in restaurant management and was a server in the past, and I also understand it was 2pm on Sunday after the church rush. My wife had to wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged. The server forgot my water - which is get it’s the last hour, so closing duties have to be done. She was attentive to my gluten restrictions. But my wife’s food came out cold and my pork chops tasted like they’d been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Like I said, we did come in an hour before close, and everybody was probably tired from the lunch rush, but the experience was very underwhelming. They did re-prepare my wife’s eggs, which was kind.
