The menu mentions asking about gluten-free options, so I asked what was gluten-free. The answer, “everything”. They have gluten-free toast, French toast, and waffles! They also have sugar-free syrup! Having a wheat allergy and being diabetic usually means I have to be very selective. I was amazed at how accommodating this restaurant is. The food was amazing and Phillip was an excellent server!
Great place, food is delicious 🤤 gluten free & vegan. Every time we are in Sarasota that’s our HAPPY 😃 PLACE. Our servers Andrey and Matt were great explaining the menu and advise us options. This was the weekend of Saturday May 3rd - Monday May 5th, 2025.
I love Simon’s! I’ve been going for years and the food is always amazing! I always go for any vegan specials and the soups are always delicious and unique!
I also never leave without a dessert for later! Such a great variety of vegan, gluten free and other items!
A huge bonus is that their entire team is incredible!
Local- family owned- great options- check them out!
We visited from TN and we can't wait to come back and eat here again. The food is fresh and healthy. So many gluten free options too since my husband has celiac and I am gluten intolerant. The staff are so nice and willing answer any questions you have. Definitely a 10 out of 10 ☺️

Super cute shop with excellent variety of coffees and gourmet pastries. Absolutely loved the pumpkin cheesecake muffin (gluten free and vegan!) My pumpkin latte was perfrct with oat milk. Roomy seating, games shelf for anyone, nice coffee bar. The parking is tight but worth it!
My favorite Coffee shop in Sarasota! We moved to the area 3 years ago and I started to visit every single coffee shop, ofKors have great options of pastries and their coffee quality is excellent! The place is really Hygge🙌🏼 and they have some gluten free options that becomes our favorite.
Absolutely Unacceptable and Dangerous for Anyone with Allergies or Health Conditions
We recently stayed in Siesta Key and, as loyal customers of Pura Vida who eat there 2–3 times per week, we made a special effort to drive an hour to this location, trusting it would uphold the same standards. Unfortunately, what we experienced was shocking negligence—especially from a business that markets itself as “healthy” while charging premium prices (and still serving food in plastic, by the way).
I have severe dietary restrictions due to a recent surgery—specifically no soy, gluten, or dairy. I communicated this multiple times over two consecutive days to the same employee: a young blonde woman with blue eyes working under a manager named John (if I recall correctly). She appeared to take my concerns seriously: entered the order in front of me, checked the allergy binder, and even confirmed that substituting Chipotle Aioli for Ginger Soy was safe for me.
And yet—I was still served food containing allergens I explicitly told them I could not have. The exact ingredients I said I must avoid were in the food I was given. I ended up in the hospital during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.
To make matters worse, there’s no direct phone number to reach this location to even speak to someone about what happened. For a brand that claims to care about wellness, this level of irresponsibility is appalling.
If you have serious allergies, dietary restrictions, or health concerns—DO NOT trust this place with your wellbeing. What happened to me was not just careless; it was dangerous.
The blueberry streusel gluten free keto doughnut was shockingly good. Hard to believe really. My husband had a breakfast sandwich that was also great. Atmosphere inside was calm and exactly what we wanted.
While on a road trip we found this awesome place. So I've been on some strange habits lately of only eating out and ordering things I can't get usually. ( a bit strange I know but it's getting me to order outside the box ) I had the Rueben on Rye with potato salad. I would def order that again. Buttery, toasty, flavorful and filling. It could have a bit more meat though. Potato salad was yummy! My partner had the matcha and a muffin. Muffin was sweetened with monk fruit, gluten free, and just the right amount of fluffy/moist. Lastly we got a sausage & egg everything bagel with a slice of tomato and it was good. Everything is fresh to order yet it didn't take long. Although we didn't get to try all the baked goods they have a really hefty selection.
In a town with a lot of great breakfast options this is one of my favorites. Super fresh, gluten free options, great omelettes and the hash brown casserole is amazing.
All the staff is really nice. Angie waited on us today and she was lovely. Checked on us often but not too much! She made sure we had lots of ice tea and everything else we needed.
We’ve never been disappointed at this cafe!
Love this place! Stumbled upon it during my vacation and could not be happier. Great for my gluten free/vegan people. Doesn’t taste like artificial sugars/sweetener; it’s very natural and filling!
Beautiful spot, waitress was very sweet and helpful, food was delicious. We hadn’t had Venezuelan food before, so this spot was a great first experience. Side note, if you are gluten sensitive this is may be a good spot. Most of the food was made with a corn flour. I didn’t ask if it’s made out of just corn, but my stomach felt fine after.
Waitress also mentioned that the wait time might be a little longer than normal restaurants because everything is made from scratch. Although it didn’t end up taking long at all, our meals tasted fresh and whoever was the chef definitely had passion for their craft.
I do wish there was a 4.5 star option, only because it was a bit pricey. Coffee and mocha we got were also good, just seemed over priced. $4.50 for a small, plain black coffee in this economy hurt a little.
What a gem! This place is adorable. Great place to go alone or with a group. My wife has celiac and we were concerned about that darn wheat in the tea. Well, the owner brought out the book from the supplier and according to their site none of their teas have gluten. This meant my wife could enjoy nearly every drink on the menu. The tea was delicious!!! But the atmosphere was even better.
We were very pleased with this little cozy cafe located at St Armond in Sarasota. The manager and our server were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a couple of food allergies to navigate and they took great care of us!
The service was very quick and our food was delicious. The portions were much larger than we expected.
Highly recommend this place for breakfast AND lunch. It was nice that they have gluten free bread available.
Great spot filled with used books, friendly service, and delicious eats.
*Fantastic selection of coffee & tea I'm cute mugs
**Gluten free/Vegetarian options
***Vibes 10/10
An empanada lover's happy place! We first met the Empanada Girl at the Lakewood Ranch farmer's market at Waterside. Stefania was the kindest food cart person we had met as she worked the orders and also took the time to chat with us and go over how she came to this fantastic gluten free and plant based recipes. We ordered one of each and honestly loved them all! They are each stamped on the crust with the type and come frozen or you can order one on the spot to be heated up. Stefania shared that she sold her items out of her then parent's store Peperonata Pasta Store. Well fast forward to today, we saw her in person working the store with her little one Ari! She chatted with us about taking on the store from her family and carrying on the tradition of their family and her amazing empanadas. Tips for ordering if you want them warm, call ahead! They take about 15 mins to warm but it's always fun to sit in their cute eatery and meet others who come thru the store. So many regulars and newbies like us! They carry an amazing amount of homemade items including pastas, sauces, desserts, and branded items. Definitely stop by this store and support this wonderful family owned business and their growing family! Thank you Stefania and crew we'll be back!
The most delicious experience of my trip! I wanted to buy EVERYTHING within sight, but refrained and decided to take some things to go instead. 😜
The service made me feel like I was at Grandma's kitchen table. The food & hot drinks were EXCELLENT! FRESH! DELICIOUS! Sometimes places like this are great at bakery goods and not so good with beverages, but I got an AMAZING americano and my friend got a fresh chai tea that was GREAT. The place is very clean and calm as well.
I'm literally dreaming about the next time I'll be in this side of Florida just to be closer to this amazing establishment. They have gluten-free options, home-made EVERYTHING, and are simply amazing!
I absolutely love this place and plan to return again! This is amazing! Five stars easily!
My boyfriend and I get smoothies here occasionally and as far as my experiences have gone they are always good! Our most recent visit we were greeted by Nybree who was very nice and welcoming (we felt as if he deserved a friendly shoutout)! our smoothies are always made in a timely manner and taste delicious! During our most recent visit I noticed they updated/accommodated their menu so almost every smoothie can be made gluten free which I genuinely appreciate!!
So happy we found this gem while we were visiting Sarasota! I had the Parisian salad with ham, cheese, and a poached egg. A delicious gluten-free option! The coffee and macarons were wonderful also. Would definitely recommend!
Super chill hidden gem find. Amazing selection of coffees, mocktails, pastries, wine, beer, matcha tea, even a cute steamer for kids. Definitely making this our new spot and will be back to try the unique natural wines. My iced chai tea latte was absolutely perfect like fall in the summer. The matcha is strong and pure great deep flavor no gimmicks. Quality taste and loved the gluten free chocolate cookies, super moist and yummy peanut buttery chips.. Nice staff, friendly Taj helped us right away with a smile and quick service. Cute patio tables and relaxing space. Easy parking. We are from Bodega Bay, California and this feels like a chill surf coffee shop home away from home. Nice job 👍🏻 thank you for the good vibes 🥰
We had a nice lunch here! My boyfriend is gluten free and they offer GF bread and buns which is really great. I had the lunch duo of a salad and 1/2 sandwich and my boyfriend had a GF Rueben with fries. The service was friendly and quick and we overall enjoyed the experience!
