gluten free bread available. The truffle eggs benedict are delicious. And the potatos, style gratin francaise made in the oven, succulent. Bad note, when paying they try to trick to mínimum 18% tip, write yourself 15%.

Nice place with many options for breakfast. One order was the special Benny - huge portion with good flavours. One of us needed a gluten free option which is often easy done for breakfast. At Tommy Cafe a lot of the items that would ordinarily not have gluten had in it, had gluten, like the breakfast potatoes for instance. While we appreciate the gluten free bread available, for a $4 surcharge, better bread could have been provided (they make nice options now at no more cost than the bad stuff). We appreciated that the waiters knew what had gluten in, but they seemed to judge us for requiring it.

We needed to find a place for lunch and walked into Tommy's Cafe on Saint Paul St. We loved the music first off and the service and the food were so good we came back the next day for lunch too. We also recommended this place to a couple asking us of a good place for lunch and they tried it and liked their choices a lot too. We were surprised to find out it was a franchise but this particular Tommy's was outstanding and did not have the franchise atmosphere. We were greeted by the owner and had a nice conversation with him. The food AMAZING!!!! Allergy friendly (gluten and dairy) and my husband was very happy. If we ever return to Montreal we will certainly stop in again. A MUST!!!!
