Top of the Marq

Very good comfort food!! I have to eat gluten free so the beef was my only option on the main course. There are more gf options for small plates. My fiancé had the gumbo and loved it! It's a beautiful place with a great view of the river and bridge.

My husband and I went to Top of the Marq to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely experience. The service was excellent. Our server asked if we had been there before and explained the tapas style menu. I'm not really drinker, but wanted something fancy since we were celebrating. I asked our server for mocktail suggestions and I ended up having a couple of virgin Lavender Collins, which was simply heaven in a glass and looked as good as it tasted! The menu had gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options so there's something for everyone regardless of dietary restrictions. The food was fantastic and came out surprisingly quick. My favorites were the Buffalo cauliflower and the peach chicken, but the housemade snickers bar for dessert... I have no words. You just have to try it for yourself and thank me later. After dinner we finished our drinks on their rooftop patio and enjoyed watching the sunset over Cape. 5 Stars, chef's kiss, very highly recommend! We will be back.
