We were taking our college kids out for dinner before their exhibit at the Paper Gallery and they were hoping for burgers or burritos. None of us had ever been to Tortilla Flats so we thought we would give this place a try. Very glad we did!
We were seated at 5:10, took some time to order. The menu had a lot of items with quite a bit of variety, I had the La Paz tacos with shrimp with corn tortillas (gluten free) and rice with cucumber salad. The plate was loaded! Every one of us had generous leftovers...it would be easy to split one meal so that we could have desert next time. The burrito looked fabulous. Another had a chicken sandwich and my partner had a chimichanga. We all ENJOYED the food.
The one DOWNSIDE...the margaritas were just not good. Slightly ODD tasting, no depth, the salt was wrong and the beer glass...nah. Price was right...$6 house margarita (with Sprite)...but I would pass on another next time.
Pleasant seating...roomy enough for a busy spot. I would go again.
